Sigvart Dagsland – Salmer i Vår Frelsers kirke

Description:

One evening - the whole album

It's been 30 years since my hymnal "There is power in folded hands" was released.

At the time, I was completely unprepared for the reception from the audience, which was simply overwhelming. You might think that it was churchgoers who bought the album and came to the concerts, but it had a much wider reach. I don't really know why. But I felt for myself that there was a power in these old songs, a power that didn't leave me unaffected. And now I haven't played them for a long time. And never before have we performed the entire album. But we're doing something about that this year:

On this fall's church tour, we're going to play the entire album. Laiv.

In addition, we play some of the most hymn-like of my own, as well as the occasional tune from the "Hymns" album.

This will be a one-time event, and it will be awesome!

With me I have three fantastic musicians: Torjus Vierli on grand piano, David Wallumrød on Hammond organ and Espen Tappel on guitars.

This will be fun!
