Tore Renberg og Christian Ihle Hadland
En kveld i regi av kunstens intelligens
Description:
Tore Renberg and Christian Ihle Hadland – An evening under the direction of the intelligence of art
In 2026, Tore Renberg and Christian Ihle Hadland will set out on the kingdom's roads under the auspices of the intelligence of art.
At the top of the travel chest are Renberg's poems and a stack of piano pieces. The music and poetry will meet in very different ways. They will hold each other in a mutual iron grip, dance gently, or gossip away in serious silliness. Here comes the ode to the unborn grandchild, the spoof about the swindled youths and the lament for the man from Trøndelag who got a passport to hell. In natural interaction with Domenico Scarlatti and Harald Sæverud.
Welcome to a low-shouldered, broad-spectrum and deliciously competent evening, spiced with anecdotes and dialogue between the artists.
The tour crosses municipal borders throughout 2026 and we are happy to open the doors to Tore Renberg and Christian Ihle Hadland, two of our leading figures in their fields. You don't want to miss this.

About Christian Ihle Hadland:
Christian Ihle Hadland took up the piano at the age of eight, and has since gained a reputation as an excellent soloist and chamber musician. His international breakthrough came when he was selected as a New Generation Artist by the BBC in 2011 and rounded off his engagement with a renowned concert at The Proms in London. He has performed with several of Europe's leading orchestras and conductors, but is captivated by the grandeur of music in the small format, something he revels in as artistic director of the chamber music festival in his hometown of Stavanger. Hadland's repertoire ranges from English Renaissance to Norwegian contemporary music, but he is most at home with the great classics: Mozart, Schubert, Chopin and Bach.
