Sandefjord girl Lise Mæland always knew she wanted to sing. From X Factor, backing vocalist for Gabrielle, and voice actress, she would only become the artist Melis in 2019.

 Fast forward to 2024 where she released her critically acclaimed second album "Someone To Come Home To" (dice 5 in the evening newspaper) followed by a tour of Norway, including a sold-out Parkteater, Oslo 2024.

The collaboration with Stargate's team in the winter of 2025 resulted in the upcoming EP, where, among others, the man who has mixed for Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and Sam Smith - 

Thomas Warren, also behind the mix of the upcoming EP 'Give it All', due out March 27. The single 'Give It All' is A-listed on NRKp3, and the Parkteateret concert will take place in September 2026.

 With “Give It All,” Melis delivers an energetic 80s EP about freedom, self-confidence, and uncompromising love. Inspired by Prince, Whitney Houston, and the glamorous Pretty Woman aesthetic, she combines big choruses, guitar solos (preferably with the wind in your hair) and a clear message: either you give it your all – or you let go. “Give It All” marks a new chapter filled with drive, self-worth, and a look forward. As Melis says, “freedom suits you!”
